Next step would be to verify that the two tables are indeed open using the USED() command. There might be some conditional code that causes these tables to open only in development mode.

If the two tables are open, please select an arbitrary table in the file open dialog that you get. You should get another error message after that stating that some field is invalid, because the table you picked most likely doesn't have the field the report is looking for. Maybe this error message helps.
