Somehow the statements seem to contradicting:

You also talk about HTML output, running the report and previewing the report. In the meantime I'm lost in what you are actually doing..

Are you running you're application as an EXE and

a) printing the report to a printer,
b) previewing the report on the screen,
c) exporting the report to HTML

and when you do so, do you

1) get a file open dialog,
2) an error message,
3) no output at all?
