Have you ever actually "met" a SP yourself? Or have you read about it in books and lived your life according to its laws and strictures, receiving bounteous output and fulfillment in return?

In the very beginning, I wasn't quite sure of stored procs. So unlike the 3 B's (baseball, blondes, and basketball in March), it wasn't love at first sight. But as time passed, I came to see the value. I'll bet if you sat in one of my ten week classes and observed other students, you'd learn to love them too. :)
