Precisely my point.

I dropped the frame, and I see now how the menu control works, I just need to figure out the way to disable/enable the cut and paste automatically.

I was trying to use the sys(1500, '_med_cut_', '_medit') to see if I could do it, but the sys(1500) function does not return a value that I can see (help says it does not return a value, but I always like to see for myself).

There has to be a way to use a bindevent to do this. I am determined to find it. I do not see where in the API a message is sent about this.
