We provide a service that lets you put your application (FPW 2.6 to VFP 9) on the web with NO changes what-so-ever. Your application UI runs on the browser (IE, Firefox, Safari) on Windows, Mac or Linux machines, and the actual application runs on a server -- ours or yours. Although the basic idea is the same as with terminal servers, there are many differences -- the biggest difference is that our system loads only your application, not the entire OS upon connection, and thus one server can handle a relatively large number of applications.

We can host your application for a monthly fee ($49/concurrent connection/month), or we can set up a server at your own site (price varies depending on number of maximum concurrent connections you might need.) Our servers are running in a highly secure colocation site, and each server is protected by a Cisco firewall appliance, industrial strength virus/spam/etc. protection as well as SSL connections between your customers' browsers and the server. This approach gives you a very high performance because there is no network in the middle and only your keystrokes and mouse clicks move in one direction and screen changes move in the other. Additionally, we back up your data daily on our server, and once a week to a remote location via FTP. Our up-time for the last year has been 99.99%.

We have used this type of setup to host our own accounting applications for over a year now, and ALL of our customers are very happy with it.

If you are interested, feel free to contact me directly for more information.
