I'm using the MS-Winsock ActiveX control as a socket client. When connected, the server device sends out bursts of string data. The problem is that over after a few minutes, data overruns result and the received data is getting corrupted. I used wireshark and the packet data is fine, it's just that MS-Winsock is flaking out. If I exit my app and run again, the app runs fine for a bit.

I have very little code in the DataArrival method. (Basically, I copy the inbound data into an array to process later)

Any advice? Is there a better control that's more reliable?
