OK, SOME red/grape wines are decent. But for me to drink a glass of wine is a rare event.

I've been at dinner parties where almost everyone at the table ordered wine, and I ordered a beer. I always love to watch the looks on their faces!

Call me a beer snob, but there is nothing like a frosty cold Guinness (with Black and Tan coming in a close 2nd)
