After reading your post, it got the brain juices flowing. I did quick search on the RetrieveAutoIncrementPK word in the dev guide and came to the page titled: RetrieveAutoIncrementPK: Retrieving Auto-Increment Values. It indicated that I could turn this off if my stored proc was doing the auto inserting. I set this to false after creating my business object, and it appears to have worked.
