>>Hi,

>>I want to add Robocopy utility to my XP Pro computer. I found a page on MS site for downloading Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools (rktools.exe). This kit has a lot of tools which I don't want. All I want is Robocopy. Do I understand correctly that if I had the file RoboCopy.exe and put it in the path of my PC I can use it in the command prompt from any folder, right? If so, how can I extract the Robocopy.exe from the rktools.exe file without installing the entire toolkit?

I don't know if this is easy. I suspect that the installation adds a bunch of keys to the registry and not sure if they are easily removed. I hope there is a way to simply get only the Robocopy.exe without going through the installation.
Thank you for the suggestion.
