And the constant idea to move the problem to an other instance will not make it better. We should be sensible with it he might lost his last anchor.

>>>Yes, exactly. I have my daughters and you people here and that's about it. Not asking for any sympathy, just trying to survive until a better day. I don't want to spend the rest of my life like this.

But I can slide away with books as deep as you with some booze. But it doesn't burn out the brain. A good friend pulls me out and gives me a new target (and something to laugh too).

>>Go out the day. Just a stroll. Watch the people you face. In the moment they notice you, smile slightly. See the wonders you can rise in there faces. (Don't forget to do this on your daughters too. (^.^) ) Remember the moments when in need.

>Good advice. At least I have stopped drinking but am katzenjammer, to use one of your words. Which is probably a good thing.

I still can not imagine that somebody who is strong enough to start drinking knowing the feeling next day is not strong enough to keep away.
To me the the problem is not being drunken (what normaly happens only with good company), it was always the next day that is lost. There are not so many.
