If that's the case, the OS will never advance. "People are using Office that shipped in 1997. We have to support it", "People are using SLQ Server 6.5, we have to support it."

I never upgrade an OS..always install fresh.


>Before releasing a new O/S, Microsoft should learn what products they currently are promoting and selling and have customers using in the field, and their new O/S damn well ought to be able to run those products. I realize things like Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008 are minor, almost unheard of products in the field (right Craig?), especially among developers whom Microsoft is promoting Windows 7 to, but they still ought to give them some consideration.
