I just went through the "32 vs 64 bit issue" for my Dell laptop. Most of the advice I got said that if I don't have at least 4 Gig RAM, that the machine may actually be slower. Some even said I shouldn't waste time on 64 bit unless I had at least 8 GB RAM.


>Yes of course. I was hoping not to do that yet because it would take me days at least to reinstall everything and get the machine back to some sense of normalcy.
