What I do here is $500 a day plus expenses.
The $500 'per day' is only billed on days that I'm onsite.
If it's 3 or more days thn I cover the airfare.
...and of course I try to be rasonable about the expenses. i.e., Don't stay in $700 a nite hotel rooms and eat $300 meals...but natuarally not staying in the getto and eating at McDonald's either...hahaha
Also, in my case I don't change the rates based on the number of people I'm training - if its one person at a desk or 50 people in a conference room the rate remains the same.

With all that being said, my *guess* is that I'm doing this cheaper than most.

>I was wondering if anybody is willing to share how they charge for on-site training on a vertical application. I am asked to go to Atlanta to give a customer a day of training. So I would need to fly there the day before. Then I would fly back at night on the day of training or the morning of the following day. At best it would take 2 days of my time away from the office. Or it could be 3 days.
