Maybe I need to install DCOM98 on it.

Jim,
Just another thought. Yes, I was told dcom files were already installed on Window 98 - however, installing dcom98 produces a .log file. I looked at the log file vs what was already on my machine. The files were exactly the same except for one file. Windows 98 had a older version of one file. I don't recall which one though, and I suppose it could have been any number of installs on my machine that changed it. I have alot of development software on my machine. After installing dcom98 - one I seem to be more stable, and two it corrected the older version with the new one.
Robert
