Ha ha. But that really is why some things he would like to do are on the back burner. He wants to focus on the big items like the economy, health care reform, and getting out of Iraq. Getting embroiled in ugly battles over things that are less important to him could make it harder to accomplish the big ones. Rescinding "don't ask, don't tell" is another one in the same category. It doesn't mean he has changed his mind, it just means he wants to address the issue later.
