I guess if the type library changes then it will have to be tested in an app with the OLEPUBLIC statement in place and then removed for the exe build?

>You've to keep in mind that VFP will not validate your interface implementation against a type library anymore. I'm not sure if you'll get an error or EVENTHANDLER() will fail at run-time if they don't match.
