>>>>>Hi. I am interested in designing a delivery system in VFP7. The system would be small - 4 trucks and 6 deliveries per truck/day (furniture).. What i the feasabilty of a system with each truck being represented on the form and drag and drop (deliveries) among the trucks?

>Why oh why do I have the impression that you don't know a lot if anything at all about .net ?

Why do I have impression that peple who do know more then me about NET, are
not very happy with what they know/do, and dish this out around here constantly ?

I was BTW only half kidding in previous message. For certain types of apps VFP is simply much better.
In this particular case, since OP has previous knowledge of VFP then choosing VFP is only sensible and wise thing to do
especially considering nature of app. As for data, 'backbucket' can be anything.

Would you choose NET/MSSQL for your Mom&Pop&Uncle Steve targeted application ?
(SMEs) If yes, why ?

I see no reason why he should go experiment with NET, if app like this can be busted
in no time at all in VFP, and make his customer a very happy camper.

If he get gig at 'Fabricam', then of curse NET is a only sport! {g}

Cheers :)
