>>> I agree. I am dumbfounded at the ludicrous analogy. Neither UPS nor FedEx offer letter delivery, and the only reason the Post Office is still operating is because we subsidize it.
>>>
>>>He makes the opponents point FOR THEM. Add to that things like Amtrack, VA hospitals, base PX's, farm/dairy subsidies....etc and multiply that stupidity times the ignorance factor of those who will believe "you will not stand in lines", "I do not believe in single-payer systems" and"I have the support of AARP" and I think you get 52%.
>>>
>>>Wake up voters. As Marcia said - contact your elected officials now.

>>It's easy, too. You will be given boilerplate letter text and suggestions on how to storm troop town hall meetings.

>I never suggested boilerplate text nor storm trooper tactics. I find it interesting, though, that you are almost in lock step with Nancy Pelosi who called Americans expressing dissent Nazis.

Please see my reply to Tracy, who made the same point about objecting to dissent. I am fine with dissent. Some of these town meeting disruptions just seem pretty well orchestrated. They certainly are not civilized discourse or respectful debate, which is what town meetings used to be like.

BTW, I don't like Nancy Pelosi any more than you do.
