Ken, thanks for you relpy, I did test changing SYSTEM.INI and it works very well, but is there a way you know to have a similar effect making it from within VFP? or a way to selectively choose to start either way in the SYSTEM.INI with shell=explorer.exe or shell=myapp.exe?.
In older DOS days it could be possible to have the user choose from a menu what to run in the CONFIG.SYS, I tryed it in the SYSTEM.INI but it did'n work.
Have any additional advise?
