I have a bunch of .BMP images on-disk. I want to be able to e-mail them but at 8MB each they're too large.
My thinking is to create .JPG equivalents on-disk (leaving the original .BMPs intact), and e-mail those. The quality should still be pretty good at 10% the size of the .BMPs.
Did I read somewhere that GDIPlusX may be able to do conversions like this? If so, can someone give some guidance regarding which namespace(s)/methods/properties to use?
