And the webpages have this "good" tradition of being rife with marketing blurbs and little or no usable info. Generally, if I visit a site to see about a product, I'm already interested in it, so there's no need to get me interested. It's sort of counterproductive. I've come to find more about the product - what does it do, how does it work, and I want to see some specs - gimme a technical page, then, and a simple pricing page. If any of that is hard to find, altogether missing, or begins with harvesting personal data or "call for details" - well, I've already set one foot out of the shop, and the other is just about to follow.
