I know how it's hard to implement a wide range of situations in a grid builder. For myself to keep it easy I wrote a small prg only for grid.building via parameters (not visual). I try to embed much functionality to grid class itself and for that reason I tend to programmatic ways :) Maybe I could also help some after checking your builder ;)
