ACORN seems to have a special place in the hearts of the conservative blogosphere and talk radio. You would think they were running the country. I thought they were a voter registration organization? Even if they are sometimes shady about how they do it, which I am willing to agree they are, let's not get carried away about their importance.

On your main point, maybe you're right. It is my perception that the people disrupting town hall meetings on health care reform are notably obnoxious, but maybe I'm biased. Not being sarcastic. It could be like watching a ballgame. Something a player on your team does is OK but when someone on the other team does it, it's outrageous. Fair point.
