There is a word repeated by the main character all the time "chiquito/a" which started a discussion with my wife, she hated it and does not remember it as being used, on my case I do remember it so the discussion, but things were kind of settled when my mother came to visit us a couple of weeks ago, and She started to use chiquita/o quite a lot, so it might be that is used more in Patagonia than in Buenos Aires, that's why my wife does not know it and was really annoyed at it :)

I heard it used a lot in Uruguay as in espere un chiquito...wait a minute, moment, or a bit or something like that. Meant to add that I've heard chiquitito used a lot too but in Columbia and Costa Rica and it was (can't remember what you call it) a familiar?

Just remembered: diminutative like in 'my little one' :o)
