It bombs when it generates a source longer than 64K which then can't compile. The easiest workaround was to write a "procedure create_< view/table name here> " before each definition, and call all these procedures in the beginning of the .prg file. Today I've visited my VFP6 install and - voila: it works exactly that way. One bug solved.
