Dear all,
Having problems printing over networked printers.
Problem 1
My client has a mix of panasonic and Epson LQ dot matrix printers used for printing accounting invoices.
They're using a pre-printed form with prefixed formats that we have to position our fields to match using the report writer.
In VFP 9 report writer, we tried to program initially by not saving the printer environment but the field positions go haywire when printed over the network (using the same printer), printing on a similar printer locally is fine. To resolve this, we included the printing environment in the report and it prints out fine over the network ( provided the network printer is the same as the report printer environment). However, we need to redo another report format file for another printer model. Is there something that we missed here? I thought not saving the printing environment should be the way.

Problem 2
Having forced to saved the printing environment in the report formats, we now have a second problem, on certain documents where it so happens to stretch 2 pages, an extra blank 3rd page is printed out without any details. When we print this into a PDF file, it only contains 2 pages, however on printing into paper, 3 pages comes out with the 3rd page totally blank except for the header and footer.
How do we go about fixing this.

We've reinstalled the printer drivers on all the PCs but to no avail.
Any help would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance
Yau
