Maybe 6.x, x > 1, but I agree with you. The interesting thing is how unimportant it is. New Windows releases used to be a huge deal. Now they're as peripheral as, well, FoxPro. Desktop OS's become less important by the day. There are generations coming up who know and care little about desktop apps. My daughters, who I believe are reasonably representative of their generation, could probably not say what OS is on their computers at gunpoint. The younger one knows hers is a Mac. That's about it. They are online a lot and 99.9% of what they do is on the web.
