It should but never helped me :( I had weird results with automatic and prefer explicit controlling. Also I remember a case story (an old FP advisor ?) where a situation like this was ceased after changing "automatic" with a delay mechanism. But also I don't use automatic for message is in English too, might be sufficient :)
