>1. My project has 2 forms (so far). And as I work on the second form I want to - once in a while - see what a beautiful job I am doing. So I click on Debug button (in VS2005) but the first form is displayed. How do I run just the current form?

You can set the program that loads to launch your 2nd form for debugging it or create a way to launch it from your first form.

>2. When I place text boxes and labels on the form it seems like there is an invisible grid. I can drag a textboxs either right next (vertically) to each other or they are separated by too much space (for my taste). Is there a setting not to snap to grid? How can I see/enable the grid?

Look under options, windows form designer - turn off snap to grid. (You might have to check Show all settings to see the windows form designer options)
