Good advice about tackling a project and seeing it thru to the end.
Also, get a good book. I tried many unsuccessfully and had just about given up till I found
C#2008 for Programmers by Deitel. It's excellent.

>>Hi, glad to help. Many here have been at the point you're at right now, so feel free to post any questions up in the .NET area of the Universal Thread.

Unfortunately, the UT hasn't been as helpful with .NET for me as it has been with VFP.
I've never posted a VFP question here without getting a workable answer,
but I've posted several .NET questions and never gotten a workable answer.

I think it's the nature of .NET- it's constantly changing and its scope is so much wider that there are many ways to do any one thing,
Finding someone who has tackled any given problem the same way you are and can help with the details is just a lot more difficult.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
