tried that previously. my buttons no longer depressed. the click event was fired, but visually you did not see the buttons depress. my clients hated it. took a long time, but when i removed the lockscreen, the buttons depressed. ask on ut and others have had the same experience with lockscreen for the toolbar.
thanks for your reply, brenda
>One thing that may help is to set the top level form's LockScreen property to .T. before you do the enable/disable. Then set it back to .F. when you're done.
>>have one toolbar for the entire app. it has many buttons (too many to show them all at one time.) depending on the form, page, container, etc displayed, the buttons on the toolbar are set visible/enabled =.t. or .f.. can not determine exactly what is slowing down, but know that the toplevelform is resized for each button visible. can actually see the buttons pop around the toolbar. put the visible/enabled in a with, endwith but that did not seem to help. any ideas for speeding this up?
