I know absolutely nothing about web design (other than very simple HTML) nor ASP.NET, but I happened to be on the PayPal website the other day and noticed that they have shopping carts you can use on your website. It might be worth looking at.

There are other options out there too (hopefully you'll get more replies about that), but I mention PayPal simply because I just happened to be looking at their site yesterday.
