Forms & Form designer
I used READ EVENTS previously in my prg after DO FORM and still got the same negative results. I got the idea from the TASTRADE sample application, which is slick!
Turns out all you need is to set your form to be the MAIN form (right-click , Project Manager), and then, set the forms WindowType property to Modal, as suggested by Jim Booth. Now I can BUILD EXE with 1 form without it quitting on me!!!
Thanks for your reply.
>Read about READ EVENTS and CLEAR EVENTS in the help. Also, you might want to check out the TASTRADE example or use the APPLICATION WIZARD as examples of application pieces you need.

>>I used the form designer in VFP 3.0 Professional to create a form which works fine winthin VFP. When I "BUILD EXE", the resulting application just flashes the form on the screen and then quits. I've added a prg to call the form (DO FORM) to the project but still get the same results.
