That's one of the biggest problems. So many books and samples seem to want you to hook up data right from the winform. Drives me nuts. That's why I hang out here in the Dot Net forums (mostly lurking). I've learned a lot more doing this than from books that seem never to have heard of data or busobj tiers. Maybe a lot of this will become moot when people (including me) start to get more familiar with the Entity Framework.
