I became very ill toward the end of the October 2008 conference with some kind of a flu and was so sick that that I had to miss the last bunch of sessions the last day and a half. I remember that I was talking to Ken Levy the night we had some kind of a dinner; he said to me, "Are you okay?" or something like that. I knew I didn't feel well, but sometimes it doesn't dawn on you right away that you are getting sick. Anyway, that kind of killed me off a bit. Luckily, I was able to rest up at a friend's home before driving back to Kalifornia.
