At least KC has a QB.

The question is, which one?

There are reports out of KC that new head coach Todd Haley has been frustrated with Matt Cassel so far, while Brodie Croyle (who was supposed to take the job 2 years ago but has been injured) has impressed in camp. Cassel had a good game in Minnesota tonight, so that might help him. But my understanding is that the #1 QB position in KC is still wide open there.

Actually the big story in Minnesota tonight was Tarvaris Jackson, who put up incredible numbers. I personally hope he beats Favre for the #1 spot - I'd love to see Favre carrying a clipboard.

On Shanahan, I've heard stories that after the 2 Super Bowls and the retirement of Elway, players slowly but surely started to tune Shanahan out. Right now their organization is a mess.
