VFP searches for pictures automatically in all known locations. Those are directories that are in the path, as well as folders relative to the class library locations. You might have added a backup version of the library to the project accidentally or temporarily. This would also pull in images. Or when you added a new image, you did so from the back up location. Since you only see the immediate name of the folder, you can't really tell from the add file dialog whether you are in "project\images" or "project_backup\images".
