>On my PC, I only have one server so this serves very well. This works. I have added a -S switch and this goes directly into the interface with a default window for scripting. However, I see that this doesn't show the Object Explorer default treeview that is there when we connect manually. I have to click Connect to have it back. Have you found a way to have this appearing when automating the startup?

No, I now have way too many servers to use this option so I didn't get very far researching and testing it myself.
