Free market principles should solve many of our health care problems, but we can't return to something we have never had. And, we have never had a truly free market during the era of "modern" health care.I agree.
More to the point, many countries have tried many variations of government sponsored care with varying degrees of success and failure. None have been able to contain the increased cost of care and many are bankrupt and worsening, including our own. Isn't it about time we at least try some "free market"?
