Sheesh, we gotta stop agreeing like this. ;-)

I know, it's amazing. I'm also drafting a proposal for Marcia to join the PA Crew. She's our kinda people!

Here's something interesting: http://www.harvardir.org/blog/?p=583 . Apart from anything else it refers to the Swiss system in which non-profit insurers have exclusive access to the private insurance market. Anybody who knows anything about the Swiss knows that if they're doing it, the system must have merit. ;-) So there's a proposal: keep the private insurance market but allow access only to non-profits.

Yes, an interesting read, one I may find myself reading again.

I'm finding that I may have to back off my stance just a tad. (that in itself might cause you to faint)

We had to switch health plans recently - I will not say which one we discontinued and which one we're taking....but I was stunned to learn that because I take LexaPro, I am in a much higher risk category than if I were a big fat slob. Amazingly, there was also one plan I was not eligible for, and yet a smoker would be. So I'm a bit hacked off right now.
