If 2003:
While you are in the Personal folder click on View --> Arrange By --> Custom
When the Customize View window opens, click on the Filter button
When the Filter window opens, click on Clear All.
That should clear all filters for that mailbox.
I had this happen once before (before Outlook 2007) and this worked for me.
