Oh, we have no idea what happened. And we'll probably never know the real story. Maybe management decided on a change in direction, maybe they were tired of us arguing against every (wrong) direction the new people were trying to take us, I don't know; I'm just speculating ... we have no clue who made the decision to let us go or why.

But, oh well, time to put that behind us now and start working on "the next big thing", whatever that will be.
