Christof,

Perhaps you can shed some light on this since we talking about deployment of NET. I figured you were someone who could shed some light on this.

This past weekend I had to rebuild a HD for a new computer. When all was said and done, I noticed that Net 1, 2, 3, and I think 3.5 ended up being installed to run different programs that required different versions of NET (which seems redundant to me). I can just see in another few years no telling how many more versions there will be. Wouldn't you think at some point this would be an issue. It seems to me that JAVA apps normally just require the lastest greatest version of JAVA, so I don't see this issue with JAVA.
