It reminds me of something that Andy said about what a bookie in England said when asked if the lottery would hurt his business (Gambling is legal in England). The bookie said no because the odds at winning a bet placed on a sports event were much more reasonable than the odds of winning the lottery. When asked what the odds of winning the lottery were, the bookie responded with this:
