Your and Sergey's tip helped me to get to a solution.

I went ahead and created a C# wrapper for the service and made it COM-accessible so I could call it from Fox. I took care of the header stuff in the C# class so it would be transparent. Rick'sr whitepaper was helpful to me, since I'm not very experienced with C#. I seem to have what I need to make the project work.
