He was the best Bears QB since Luckman but was not generally considered one of the very best in the league. Cutler could be (emphasis on could). He is 25 so in theory is coming into his peak years.

It must have been a hoot when McMahon was at BYU. We was a legendary wild man from California. Not exactly the BYU profile.

I thought it was funny that Al Michaels compared him to Sid Luckman, a comparison I have heard previously around here. Sid Luckman played in the 1930s. For half a season Rex Grossman looked like he might be the one but then he morphed into Bad Rex.
