Yes, it will. C# is a solid language running in a solid environment. There will certainly be evolutions of .Net, but that's going to be true for
any open source product as well. The problem with open source is that it's open source.

While I have never been a big fan of MS's business practices, they are the leader in alot of areas, including, IMHO, development tools. I don't think corporate america is going to abandon MS in favor of open source.
