Probably would be wiser to learn an Open Source tool. Like I said, it's just a matter of time before all software development is Open Source. It just makes too much sense.

I have had clients approach me about using Open Source tools to build their applications. What I invariably discovered was that the motivation to use Open Source came from the client's desire to save money. As it turned out, the client also wanted to save money on my hourly rate <g>.
