Sylvain,
If you don't read Cooper you are doing yourself a large disservice. I've seen Cooper quoted to support every type of interface that a developer wants. The book is 558 pages, so he has alot more to say than don't have a save button.
He is quoted out of context so often that many people who have not read the book think they know what he has to say but are mistaken. Even if you don't agree with everything he says (I, for one, don't) he will make you think about your interface design. When we give thought to the interface we start to build better interfaces. Better interfaces mean less hassle for the users in getting their jobs done.
