Cool, thanks for the info! Unfortunately, my customers still are at SQL 2000 and 2005. Fortunately, the one SQL 7 server has been replaced lately.

True, from .NET there's no reason to use ODBC. With VFP this used to be different when there wasn't a CursorAdapter. I haven't done any performance measurements lately, though, to see if CursorAdapters with OLEDB are as fast as ODBC, though.
